Winter vacation is just around the corner, and Mendoza (one of the most visited tourist destinations by Argentinians) is waiting for you to explore it with Rentennials!!

During this winter break, the province offers snowy landscapes, tourist circuits, gastronomy and of course wineries.

You are surely already making plans for this winter vacation, right? As we all know, the winter break is in July and lasts two weeks, but the vacation dates depend on the province where we are.

The provinces that have winter vacation from July 9 to 24 are: Catamarca, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, La Pampa, La Rioja, Mendoza, Misiones, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Fe and Tucumán.

And as for the provinces that have winter vacation from July 16 to 31 are: Buenos Aires, Chaco, Corrientes, Formosa, Santa Cruz, Santiago del Estero and Tierra del Fuego.

Wineries

Of course you can't miss the winery circuit. They are the stars of tourism in the province. Regardless of whether it is winter, these offer us incredible views and of course great gastronomy to enjoy during the day.

You can also explore the Clos de los Siete, you might be wondering what it is, right?

The "Clos de los Siete" estate is located in Vista Flores, in the Uco Valley, and features an incredible view of the Andes Mountains. Within this estate there are four wineries that you can visit and enjoy tastings of their wines, produced exclusively with grapes from the estate's own vineyards surrounding each winery. These are: Bodega Monteviejo, Cuvelier Los Andes, Bodega DiamAndes and Bodega Rolland.

The Puquios

The snow park Los Puquios, is located 185km from the City. In this park, skiing and snowboarding are allowed as long as weather conditions permit. If not, options to enjoy sledding and snow activities are also available.

Las Leñas

If you really love skiing and spending a few days of pure adrenaline, you can't miss the Las Leñas ski resort, which has already announced its opening for this June 17th.

The Las Leñas resort is located in the heart of the Andes mountain range, in the province of Mendoza. It has a total of 30 runs classified as beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert, and also features a Snowpark area for Freestyle enthusiasts and the best off-piste terrain in South America.

This ski resort offers unbeatable snow quality, international cuisine and top-class hotel facilities, within a safe and peaceful environment for the whole family.

Sulfur

The province has the new complex El Azufre, located 210 km from Malargüe, and covers 12,000 hectares. It plans to open in June, promising to be 100% sustainable and generate dry snow for 5 months, from June to October. However, access for now will be limited to helicopter trips of 12 people.
